Emily Boya is the founder and principal of Studio Em Design. Design started at a young age for Emily, as she often found herself sitting at the dining table drafting up floor plans and design ideas for dream homes for her friends and family. Surrounded by construction, she was always fascinated by how changing someone’s environment can have such a tremendous impact on their lives. She went on to an arts-focused high-school where she honed in on her love for architecture and interior design along with photography and visual arts. When it was time for college she knew interiors, where people spend more than 90% of their time, was where she wanted to focus. Emily graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. Emily has over 10 years of hospitality and residential design experience. She has a keen sense of architectural details and believes that the small moments can make the biggest impact. Emily takes pride in bringing her visions to life when creating tailored homes for her clients. When Emily isn’t working, she loves to spend time with her husband, her young son, and two standard poodles.
